  • I'm guessing the group that picked up the phones and walked off with them was a little self-selecting. I bet a lot of the better-intentioned people just left the phones there thinking the owner would realize it was missing and return any minute.

  • How is it a "reversal" to urge that the rules be changed, but to go ahead and play by them until and unless they are changed? There's nothing inconsistent about that. Is one side supposed to tie one arm behind its back? This author isn't very bright.
